Emmentaler AOP URTYP®
The Emmentaler AOP URTYP® stands out because of its particularly strong and intense flavoured taste, outstanding quality and unique ripening process. Twelve months is the minimum maturation time, and at least seven months of this process is in a special damp cellar. Each wheel is subjected to three strict tests by our cheese sommeliers during the ripening process and is only sold when it meets the highest standards and has reached its typical full-bodied taste. Not only does it have an intense taste, but like every Emmentaler AOP it is very pleasing and smooth and above all healthy: rich in calcium and vitamins (A, D, B2, B12) and at the same time low in salt and naturally lactose-free.
