Pendant ce temps, \u00e9plucher les oignons et les couper en 2. Retirer l'int\u00e9rieur des oignons jusqu'\u00e0 la 2\u00e8me couche ext\u00e9rieure et le hacher finement. Faire dorer bri\u00e8vement les lardons, ajouter les oignons hach\u00e9s et le thym et la marjolaine effeuill\u00e9s. Faire revenir \u00e0 feu vif, mouiller avec la cr\u00e8me et 1 dl de bouillon, faire mijoter 5 minutes.\r\n\r\nR\u00e2per finement l'Emmentaler AOP. Bien \u00e9goutter les pommes de terre et les \u00e9craser \u00e0 la fourchette. Incorporer les pommes de terre et \u00be du fromage au m\u00e9lange d'oignon. Assaisonner avec la noix de muscade, saler et poivrer.\r\n\r\nFarcir les oignons avec la pr\u00e9paration, les mettre dans un plat \u00e0 gratin et y verser le bouillon. Couvrir de papier d'aluminium et faire cuire 20 minutes \u00e0 200\u00b0C au milieu du four.
