  • toast
  • mustard
  • ham
  • eggs
  • milk
  • cooking butter
  • Chili powder
  • A couple of rocket leaves
  • Salt
  • Icing sugar

Emmentaler AOP specialities

Cut the Emmentaler in thin 2 mm slices. Spread mustard on the toast. Cover 4 slices of toast with half of the cheese, dust with some chili powder. Then place the ham, rocket and the remainder of the cheese on top. Dust the cheese again with chili powder. Cover with the remaining slices of toast and press everything together.

Whisk the eggs with milk and a pinch of salt. Dip the toast in the egg and milk mix, take out and fry on both sides over a medium heat. Dust with a little icing sugar, according to taste.
